It started in Boise in 1985
Mark and Betty Heath opened Business Interiors of Idaho in Boise in 1985. Their son Jeff interned here in 2012 and came back in 2014 as CEO. The downtown showroom on Capitol Boulevard has been home since 1990.

2022, and the year the industry moved
In July 2021, Herman Miller bought Knoll. Dealers who had built their businesses on Knoll were suddenly carrying a line owned by their largest competitor, and Freeform in Spokane was one of them.
In January 2022, Business Interiors of Idaho and Freeform merged. That October, BII retired its name and the whole company became Freeform. In March 2023, Brutzman’s Office Solutions in the Tri-Cities joined, a Haworth dealer the Heaths had known for more than thirty years. One company now serves Boise, Spokane, and the Tri-Cities.

Why Haworth
Family-owned since 1948.
G.W. Haworth founded the company in Holland, Michigan in 1948. It is still privately held and still led by the Haworth family, now in its third generation.
Sustainability before it was a scored line item.
In 2009, Haworth became the first company in the contract furniture industry to reach zero waste to landfill across all of its U.S. manufacturing plants.
The range covers the whole building.
Haworth’s own lines cover workstations, seating, and architectural walls. Through the Haworth Collection we can also specify Poltrona Frau, Cassina, Cappellini, and JANUS et Cie for the spaces where design carries the most weight.

Haworth works through about 650 dealers in more than 120 countries. If you open an office in another state or another country, your standards can be specified once and supported by a local dealer there.
Freeform has been a Haworth Best in Class dealer since 2022. Haworth names a small group of dealers each year for market development, sales, and operational excellence.
